Who we are

This website, www.igmfund.com, is operated by Innovative Growth Management LLC (“IGM”, “we”, “us”), 875 N Michigan Ave, Suite 3100, Chicago, IL 60611, United States. Questions about this policy: contact@igmfund.com.

What we collect

Contact form. When you submit the contact form we collect the information you enter: your name, email address, and message, and, if you choose to provide them, your phone number, organization and the type of inquiry. We also record the date and time of your submission and, for abuse prevention, the network address from which the form was submitted, which is used for rate limiting and kept only in short-lived server logs.

Investor-interest and business-submission forms. If you express interest in investing with IGM or submit a business for IGM's consideration, we additionally collect the answers you give in those forms — for investors, your investor type, indicative range, country and how you heard about us; for business owners and their advisors, your role, the company's name, website, industry, location, size ranges (years in business, revenue, profit, employees), what you are looking for, real-estate status, timeline and how you heard about us — together with your description and the confirmations you tick. Business submissions are reviewed only by IGM's principals and used solely to evaluate a potential transaction; the service provider that maintains our database (see “Where it is stored and who can see it”) has technical access only to operate and secure that system.

Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) in server logs used for security and troubleshooting.

Cookies, analytics and advertising measurement

Necessary cookies. We set a small number of first-party cookies that are required to run the site and to honor your choices: a consent cookie (igm_consent, 180 days) that records your cookie preferences, and a first-touch attribution cookie (igm_attr, 90 days) that records how you first arrived at our site (campaign parameters such as utm_source/utm_medium/utm_campaign, click identifiers such as gclid, fbclid or li_fat_id, the referring website and the first page you landed on). The attribution cookie contains no name or contact details, but advertising click identifiers may allow the advertising platform to link your visit to an account you hold with it; if you later submit the contact form, its contents are attached to your submission so we know which outreach led to your inquiry.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent). If enabled by us and accepted by you, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device, session recordings and heatmaps in Clarity). Google Tag Manager may be used to load these tags. We use Google Consent Mode v2: analytics and advertising storage are denied by default and only enabled after you accept. Google's tag loads before you make a choice, in this consent-denied mode: it sets no cookies, but Google receives limited technical information (such as the page viewed, your IP address, browser type and your consent status) without identifiers that track you across visits.

Marketing cookies (only with your consent). If enabled by us and accepted by you, we use the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) and the LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Corporation) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to build audiences on those platforms. When you submit the contact form we may report a “lead” conversion event to Google, Meta and LinkedIn; this event carries only the type of inquiry, categorical answers such as investor type, industry or revenue band, and an anonymous event identifier — never your name, email address, phone number, company name or message. No advertising event is sent for investor-interest inquiries. We may also send the same anonymous lead event to Meta from our server (Conversions API) using your IP address, browser user agent and Meta's own cookies so that duplicate events can be reconciled.

Managing your choices. A banner asks for your consent before any analytics or marketing cookie is set. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer, or by deleting cookies in your browser. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. The third parties named above process data under their own privacy policies (Google, Microsoft, Meta, LinkedIn).

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Our site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals, because there is no common industry standard for them. Analytics and marketing cookies are off unless you accept them in our cookie banner, and you can withdraw that consent at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer.

How we use it

We use contact-form information to respond to your inquiry, to keep a record of our correspondence, and, if you have expressed interest in investing with or receiving capital from IGM, to evaluate and follow up on that interest. We do not sell personal information.

Where it is stored and who can see it

Submissions are emailed to IGM's mailbox (Microsoft 365) through an email delivery service, and stored in a database operated for IGM by US Software Professionals Inc. (USSP), a technology service provider owned by one of IGM's principals, on infrastructure provided by Supabase (hosted in the United States). Our website is hosted on Railway. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. Access to submissions is restricted to IGM personnel who need it to respond to you and to USSP administrators who operate and secure the database.

Retention

We retain contact submissions for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain a record of our relationship, and thereafter as required by law or for legitimate business record-keeping. You may ask us to delete your submission at any time.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing contact@igmfund.com. Residents of certain jurisdictions (for example, the EU/UK under the GDPR or California under the CCPA) may have additional rights, which we will honor as applicable. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

Security

We use HTTPS across the site, restrict access to submission data, and apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, email contact@igmfund.com and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
